Drainage of Foundation

In building it is fundamental to defend the foundations of a building from contact with the meteoric waters that infiltrate the soil, creating accumulation damaging to the structure itself, and favor the formation of moisture phenomena inside the underground enclosures both by percolating water from the ground surrounding terrain, both by capillary rise.

The protection of such parts of a building can be accomplished in two ways, or by practicing aerated cavities, which encircle the perimeter of the building, preventing contact between the foundation structures and the surrounding terrain, or by installing waterproof barriers , associated with a drainage system.

SINDRAIN is an ideal drainage mat for drainage of foundations.

With its high water transport capacity is positioned between the concrete foundation and the natural soil, it favors the disposal of water. SINDRAIN can be applied both in the case of foundations of underground floors and therefore require vertical drainage, both below a concrete slab which, on the contrary, foresee a horizontal drainage, and in this latter case also counteract the rises of groundwater.
