SINMAT
SINMAT and the three-dimensional anti-erosion geomat di Sineco International specification for soil consolidation.
This range of 3D reinforced geotechnical mats are composed of extremely resistant polymer monofilaments with soil containment and reinforcement functions.
Positioned in a sloping area, they allow for the creation of a composite system with superior mechanical characteristics compared to those of soil alone.
The advantages? They are useful for preventing:
- surface erosion phenomena
- the creation of streams of water and runoff
- the sliding downstream of the sown or planted essences

Correct installation SINMAT
Here is a Example of application of the three-dimensional geonet SINMAT for the correct prevention of soil erosion.
- Create a trapezoidal anchor trench 0,50 m wide and 0,50 m deep, both upstream and downstream of the slope.
- Regularize the slope.
- Place the 3D geomat along the edge of the slope, fixing it inside the trench with U-shaped iron pegs with a diameter of 8 mm and a length of 10-12 cm.
- Fill the trench with coarse material (mostly cobblestones and blocks).
- Unravel the geomat along the slope, fixing it again with the U-shaped iron pegs (always with a diameter of 8 mm and a length of 10-12 cm) at a distance of 1-1,5 m from each other.
- Anchor the three-dimensional geonet inside the valley trench and fill with coarse material.
- Cover the geomat with growing medium before proceeding with mechanical or manual seeding or hydroseeding.
Consolidation problems? Match SINMAT a SINDRAIN
To obtain a proper consolidation of the soil, the ideal is to use two products together. Sineco International: SINMAT e SINDRAIN. The effective solution to ensure the correct collection of surface and/or deep water.

Civil Engineering
Three-dimensional geonets are recommended for surface erosion control and consolidation work. They can reduce damage to civil engineering structures in the event of landslides, earthquakes, and other natural and/or human-induced events (such as excavations and vibrations).
Nature and gardening
Ideal for preserving the integrity of agricultural or sports soil , or areas created in other contexts (such as zoos or veterinary practices), preventing erosion.
